Junkfood Cinema’s Modern Junkfood Masters: Zaror and Diaz Espinoza

By  · Published on April 21st, 2015

For this week’s showcase of Modern Junkfood Masters, you’re gonna need to grab your passports. Cargill and I celebrate a pair of our favorite genre filmmaking duos: Writer/Director Ernesto Diaz Espinoza and martial arts auteur Marko Zaror!

These South American maestros of mayhem are Chilean the smackdown in the most dazzling ways. Each film is a love letter to a different genre and the only thing more powerful than Ernesto’s nostalgia is Marko’s lightning-fast fists!

How good is Marko? Check out the video below of him actually kicking a can off the top of Brian’s head at Fantastic Fest! Yup.

You should follow Brian (@Briguysalisbury), Cargill (@Massawyrm), and the show (@Junkfoodcinema).
