Harrison Ford told the Los Angeles Times this week that George Lucas is in ‘think mode’ regarding a fifth film in the Indiana Jones franchise. And as fans have feared since the release and subsequent box office success of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, an Indiana Jones 5 is gaining momentum. As for who is the catalyst for the momentum for another revival of the whip-cracking archaeologist, Ford explains that it is coming from some sort of other dimension:
“Really, it comes from the ethos, from the ether. It’s natural. It’s a way of nature, of course, success breed opportunities … also we don’t stay as closely in contact as have in the last year, that’s part of it.”
So, it’s organic? As in, I could pick up the idea from a trip to Whole Foods? I’m confused. For many fans, that could explain some of the plot of the last Indiana Jones movie. Alright, I give up.. My wit has run out.
