Exclusive: Radcliffe and Watson Discuss ‘Deathly Hallows’

As most of you know since I’ve been talking about it for a week, I went up to New York City for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince junket and dragged along our lowly intern Scott so that I wouldn’t have to touch any door handles or cut my own food.

Since he went above and beyond the call of duty, I rewarded him by allowing him to go Hobo Hunting with me in Central Park and to ask a question on behalf of FSR at the press conference. Luckily, after everyone in the room kept asking Daniel Radcliffe about his dating life, Scott resisted the urge to ask the cast if they were tired of people asking them what it’s like to be young, attractive, and sexually active and, instead, asked the first question of the day regarding the forthcoming film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

The result? Daniel Radcliffe seemed incredibly enthusiastic about the project currently filming right now, and Emma Watson described how different the movie will be (expressing some serious excitement about an action scene they just shot with her running away from The Snatchers in a forest).

Check it out for yourself! Now with sound!

So I realize that when I say “Exclusive,” it’s the case that everyone on the internet has access to the conference sound file, but considering that it was our question ‐ I’m totally counting it.

What do you think?
