This morning HBO released a full Westworld season 2 trailer, unleashing some of the chaos of the season that airs Sunday, April 22. For those who haven’t seen the first season, this trailer contains all the spoilers, so be safe out there. This is a facsimile of the wild west, after all.

What can we learn from this official trailer?

Perhaps the most interesting little bit we get in the trailer is a very brief look at the other park we’ll be visiting this season, which is feudal Japan-themed. We got a little taste of this when we visited the Westworld installation at SXSW. Here’s a brief look at Maeve walking through said park:

One wonders if the world of Westworld — at least, that particular Delos’ park isn’t long for this world. This is perhaps what leads them out into other parks. As we learned in the trailer released last year at Comic-Con, the Hosts have a very specific goal and it’s not all that different from that of the Man in Black. “This beautiful world — we built this world together, a world where dreams come true, a world where you can be free,” says Dolores, in voice-over from that Comic-Con trailer. “But this world is a lie. This world deserves to die because this is your world. We’ve lived by your rules long enough. We can save this world. We can burn it to the ground, and from the ashes, build a new world: our world.”

Be ready for the revolution.
