Still Waiting: Promised ‘World War Z’ Script On The Way

By  · Published on April 23rd, 2010

It’s a story that fans have been hearing for a long time, but unfortunately the re-worked script for World War Z is still a few weeks from completion according to author Max Brooks.

According to MTV, the author confirmed that Matthew Michael Carnahan was still hard at work shaping the script originally written by J. Michael Straczynski.

I look at it with the Fine Wine Theory – that waiting just a little bit longer will produce something richer and that gets us drunk on zombies faster. However, that’s optimistic speculation.

On the other end of things, there’s really no reason to be negative despite the internet’s incredible aptitude for doing so. The script will be ready when it’s ready, and at that time Paramount will greenlight the crap out of it. Right, Paramount?

If you’re Paramount, read that and imagine me driving a fist into my hand suggestively and speaking with a 1920s New York thug accent.

Thanks.
