Reitman to Untitledly Direct Portman, Kutcher

If you were hoping for more comedy of the romantic variety featuring Ashton Kutcher after seeing the true horror of Valentine’s Day, then today might be a day to lay down in your scrapbook.

Also, if you were desperate to know what Ivan Reitman was going to do before diving into hunting ghosts, this is it.

According to Variety, the guy that /film knows as Jason Reitman’s father will be helming a new as-yet-Untitled romantic comedy featuring Natalie Portman and camera salesman Ashton Kutcher.

With it’s working title of Friends With Benefits, it’s set to explore how much men and women love hopping into bed but how complicated sustaining long-term relationships are. In the piece, Reitman calls the topic “ripe for discussion,” meaning he may have missed out on the last three-thousand years of human conversations.

Or he somehow missed A Lot Like Love.

But, how can you fault anything with Natalie Portman involved?

Exactly.
