It’s Hollywood’s night to shine. That’s the conventional wisdom around The Academy Awards, which take place tonight. And while it’s true that tonight, the membership of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences will gather together to celebrate the best of cinema, it’s worth noting that this year it feels like there’s something missing. So much so that we even pursued the thought experiment of rebooting the 2020 Oscar nominees. That’s worth noting.
Now, onward for those who still want to follow along with the winners. Our team will be hosting two separate live-tweets of Oscar night:
- On @OnePerfectShot, our editors will be recapping the winners, posting shots from some of the winners (and maybe the snubs), and working in some fun facts here and there.
