Dario Argento Jumps onto the Vampire and 3D Bandwagons

The news a few days ago about Romero wanting two more Dead films sparked a bit of a discussion, a few threatening emails, and raised an important question: does former glory protect you from current ridicule?

I don’t think so.

That question also applies to Dario Argento, who has made a few bad movies as of late, and is mostly remembered for his glory days in the 70s and his single-handed support of the tempura paint industry.

According to Bloody Disgusting, the man is going to be back and has apparently been utilizing Google Trends to advise his next career move. It’s Dracula. In 3D.

I’m sure I don’t need to introduce you to either of those concepts, but hopefully Argento will be able to introduce himself to a new generation of horror fans.

Filming starts in January 2011 in Argento’s home turf, Italy.

Do you still get excited about Argento?
