A beloved animated show is making its way to the big screen. Hope you are ready for that new burger special.

20th Century Fox has announced plans to bring their successful animated show, Bob’s Burgers, to the big screen. According to Deadline, they have selected a date of  July 17, 2020, for the Belchers.

Bob’s Burgers creator Loren Bouchard had this to say about the announcement.

“We’re thrilled to be invited to bring Bob’s Burgers to the big screen. We know the movie has to scratch every itch the fans of the show have ever had, but it also has to work for all the good people who’ve never seen the show. We also know it has to fill every inch of the screen with the colors and the sounds and the ever so slightly greasy texture of the world of Bob’s – but most of all it has to take our characters on an epic adventure. In other words, it has to be the best movie ever made. But no pressure, right?!”

Bob’s Burgers is an animated show on the Fox network that features the exploits of the Belcher family. The show focuses on the lives of parents Bob and Linda, and their children Tina, Gene, and Louise – who run a family operated hamburger restaurant. The show made its debut in 2011 and like most animated shows took a few seasons to find its legs, but now that it has, it has become extremely popular. Characters from the show have appeared on other animated series such as Family Guy, Simpsons, and Archer in cameos.

The Emmy award-winning comedy just premiered its eighth season this past week on Fox and they must be expecting the Belcher family to stick around for a long time.
