All You Need Is a Girl and a Gun In This Insanely Cool Short Film

By  · Published on January 23rd, 2014

Why Watch? A grimacing woman drawing a gun from her coat pocket, a Spanish singer leaving lipstick on a poker card, and a descent into the heart of a dark design. This short from Ruben Ventura is an impressively slick bit of low budget that places a heavy emphasis on magnetic visuals and poetic symbols.

AMA is like a piece of the French New Wave that came from a sangria-soaked madman who’d watched Leone alongside Godard. Aggressive and ephemeral, it’s full of meaning (if you’re looking for it) presented as a whirlwind instead of a silver platter.

What Will It Cost? About 5 minutes.
