Screen Shot At Am

Our first and only shot of Ruth Negga as Helen Lantos. What’s her role here? Why are her shelves so empty? The marketing is keeping mum on her character.

And from that twinkle, we get the title. The Latin translation of which is “To the Stars,” where all of humanity’s questions await answers. The words are often linked to “Per aspera ad astra” meaning “through hardships to the stars.” Basically, if you want to succeed beyond your reach it’s gonna be hard as hell. All the best to the McBride clan.

Ad Astra opens in theaters, including IMAX screens, on September 20th.
